History : K'arni was born to PineWood Pack on a beautiful day in fall. As winter came on, her mother took her and her brother and sister out to play more and more often. Eventualy she seemed to leave them alone in the woods, watching their every move to see who would make the best hunters, scouts, and if she had a shaman in her litter. One day as K'arni played with her brother and sister, she stepped on a magic stone and... wait, scratch that. One winter morning as the pups romped in the snow, a bear snuck up on thier mother. All K'arni heard was ""Run my children, run!" then a yelp, and a bear crashed through the shrubbery. The pups ran for their lives, but the bear was faster. It dealt with them one by one, untill it was chasing the last survivor, K'arni. Suddenly a black shape flew out of the bushes. It was her father. "K'arni, keep running where are the others!" he growled. K'arni knew that by "the others" he meant her brother sister and mother. "dead" she called over her sholder. She looked back, and caught a glimps of her father's last breath.
Eventualy she came to the territory of SnowBack Mountain Pack. Becoming lost, she found her way into the care of a loner. This loner treated her like a daughter while she got used to the losses she would always have to bare. When she was three months old, she was better, and ready to be a pack-wolf once more. "Which pack did you come from? I'll help you get back" said the loner one evening. "I came from PineWood Pack, but I can't go back. To many memories"little K'arni replied. "Well, which pack do you hope to join then?" the loner quiried. "Which do you suggest?" K'arni asked. "Well, its up to you. But which ever you choose, I'll go with you" "Really Alluan? Then we must make the desision together"
So a week later, K'arni (a three-month old pup) and Alluan (a ten-and-three-quarters years old wolf) joined SilverLake Pack
Rp:"Hurry up Alluan, you don't want to get old do you?" K'arni called back to her companion. Without waiting for an answer, the young scout bounded ahead, falling deap into a snow-drift. "Drat" she huffed. Pushing most of her body out, she fell at the paws of a smiling Alluan. "Heh, oops." K'arni wooffed. The older wolf just roled her eyes, turned around, and kept walking. The youg silver wolf pulled her hind quarters out of the snow. She bounded ahead of Alluan, swiftly gaining speed. Suddenly her eyes widened, and she skidded to a stop at the edge of a small river. That was close, can I leap this? she pondered. After a moments concideration, she leapt, land in near the other side, but not near enough. Even her head went under, water flooded her nose. K'arni barly felt herself hit the bottom of the river. But she did feel jaws clamp into her scruff, and was dragged up to the surface. Coughing and spluttering, she clambered up onto the bank Alluan at her side. "You have got to learn to swim one of these days" Alluan groweled. K'arni just barfed water, then looked at Alluan "You saved my life" she whispered. "Have you forgotten I save your life practicly every day?" Alluan woofed good-naturedly. The two laughed for quite some time, then headed back for the pack's den. K'arni got her first swimming leason on the way back accross the river.
