huge charcoal gray wolf padded across the snow that was turning to slush. Rain pattered down on her thick fur, and her odd-eyes were haveing trouble seeing. All the scents had been washed away, and she could not tell if the pack was close. The she-wolf lifted her head and let fly a sad howl. She closed her green eye and looked ahead with the blue one, which was better at seeing in harsh conditions. Still she could see nothing in the pouring rain. As she loped on, the rain began to turn to sleet. I should find shelter. she thought. As the sleet turned to hail, K'rona sfiffed the air. "Who's there?" she called. She had scented another wolf, she was sure.

Scouting the land, Juro was walking around seeing if anything was worth reporting back to the Alpha. He consealed himself like he always done when scouting, so he won't be noticed by sight be maybe by scent. It so happens he spotted another in the distance, well hearing the other walking through the slush and the howl because of his large ears. The Mane Wolf watched for awhile to see if the wolf was of any threat. Juro soon felt hail hitting his coat, he went unter a tree for selter that shielded him from some of the hail.
Then he heard a voice that seem to be coming from the she-wolf. He wanted to answer her so he called out.
" Over here, under the tree..." he replied, "It will give you some shelter from this hail." he waited to see what the wolf would do.

The she-wolf's ears pricked up at the sound of another wolfs voice. She padded through the slush over to the tree, stepping underneath to see the wolf who had spoken. "Which pack are you from?" K'rona asked. She looked the other wolf up and down. Probably a scout. she thought. K'rona sat down, her oversize paws dripping with melting slush. She set her sopping tail down on the ground as the hail became heavier.

The Mane Wolf watched as the other came closer to him and sat. Now he knew she wasn't a threat, for now. "I'm from the pack Snow Back Mountion." he replied answering the loner's question. "I'm assuming you want to join a pack, yes?" Juro had asked, watching as the hail fell harder.

How did he know? K'rona thought. The oversized wolf looked at the mane wolf. "Was it that obviouse?" she asked. Maybe the pack wouldn't drive her off after all!

"Well, kind of." Juro said gien the she-wolf a quick sideward glance and continued to look around. " Since you look like a Loner, cause any other pack wouldn't be venturing into another's territory without a purpose. " The male replied. " Name's Juro. A Scout of Snow Back Mountian."

"They would probably make me a hunter or fighter because of my size. I'm geneticly intact, I just have genetic mutation. Name's K'rona. Breed's Canis lupus arctos mammotha" She always gave the reason for her size when she met someone new. Juro was a hansom wolf, and he was being nice to her.

(just so you guys know she Arko my wolf in "rping" he's gonna put her as an
Omega until she shows that she is worthy to be a higher position and i still gotta wait for him to be accepted...also there are new bio wait no RP rules in Howls 'n' Barks)

"I'm sure the Alpha would, but if you join you'll be an Omega until you can prove yourself worthy... Nice to meet you, K'rona." Juro said getting up. He arched his back inward to stretch abit and shook his coat. "If you want to join the pack you can follow me."

K'rona had made up her mind. She stood, shakeing ice crystals from her paws. She looked out into the hail. Her thick charcoal-gray fur would keep her warm, but not dry. "I'm ready" she barked. K'rona lifted her head, howling a howl a pure joy.

Juro gave a small smile. He just recruited a new member, even if it wasn't his job to do it. " Well, lets get going then. The pack is not far from here." He pointed his muzzle to the north, towards the Mountains. "Arko, the Alpha, can accept you into the pack." After he said that, he sprinted from under the tree through the hail, towards his home. He looked over his shoulder to see if K'rona was following and keeping up.

K'rona loped after Juro. Her huge frame kept up with the other wolf easily, paws making large prints in the snow. The she-wolf bounded forward, hail pelting her back. The wind had picked up, but it was behind them speeding thier jeorney. As K'rona ran after Juro, she thought over her current afair. She was giving up the free life of a loner, for a life full of surveing her pack. It was what she had always wanted.
